According to recent rumors that have been emerging and spreading around, it’s believed that Tony Pulis is nearing his last few days as the head coach of the Premier League club West Bromwich.
The Welsh tactician has been in that managerial position since January of 2015 but if rumors are indeed true, Pulis will have to start looking for a new job as the owner of West Bromwich Albion, Jeremy Peace is selling a controlling stake of 88% of the club to a Chinese investment group and Tony Pulis just isn’t in the plans of these new owners.
However, despite having new owners there is a bigger reason of why Tony Pulis has been linked with a move away from West Bromwich Albion and it’s because of his supposed unhealthy relationship with the head chiefs of the Premier League club.
Roy Hodgson is the man that has been linked with the managerial position at the Hawthorns as he was recently sacked from coaching the England national side and available to accept a new job and West Bromwich Albion is the football destination that is becoming into a realistic outcome.
The estimated price that Jeremy Peace is believed to be willing to sell West Bromwich Albion is for around £175million. Tony Pulis is currently attempting to keep the English club in the top tier Premier League and avoid seeing them get relegated but with all of these rumors going on linking him with a move away from the club, it might take away his attention from the primary objective.
Guochuan Lai is the controlling shareholder and the main figure that is behind the Chinese consortium which is nearing it’s final stages of taking over the Premier League club. Once the takeover of Lai is ratified, then the future of Tony Pulis will become much clearer and this is expected to be completed within the upcoming few weeks or even days.
