WEST BROM OUT OF FOOTBALL LEAGUE CUP

Premier League side West Bromwich Albion were knocked out of the second round of the EFL Cup by League One side Northampton Town on Tuesday, 23rd August 2016.

The Cobblers went ahead first through Zander Diamond. Brendam Moloney had sent a perfect cross for Diamond to guide into the back of the net with a well placed header. James McClean equalized, tying the score line at 1-1.

West Brom will not allow SaidoBerahino to leave on the cheap

There are media reports that Stoke City might be interested in signing SaidoBerahino during the summer, but the price that they are offering might be posing problem.

Indeed, it is believed that Stoke City will be willing to sign the forward for a fee of only £5m.

With West Brom having refused offers of £20m from both Tottenham Hotspurs and Newcastle in recent times, it is hard to see SaidoBerahino leaving West Brom for such a low amount.

WEST BROM SET TO SIGN DIAFRA SAKHO

West Ham United are set to allow the transfer of Diafra Sakho to West Bromwich albion for £15 million. The deal will allow the prolonged deal of Saido Berahino to go through as he would be able to leave The Hawthorns.

The player has expressed his desire to leave the club since the last summer. If Sakho’s deal goes through, Berahino would be able to complete his move to either Stoke City or Crystal Palace.
