WEST BROM TARGETING MINAMINO SIGNING THIS SUMMER

Liverpool star Takumi Minamino is one of the Premier League players that have been attracting interest from several clubs this summer. The Japan international attacker has not had the best of careers at Liverpool and has failed to secure regular football at Anfield since his move from Salzburg some months ago. Following his move to join the Reds, Minamino initially had high hopes that he would become an important player under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp but that has not been the case so far.

Although the German manager has admitted that even though he loves the player, he cannot promise him regular game time because there is too much competition for places in the team. Because of his inability to become a regular starter, Minamino was then sent out on loan two seasons ago as he sealed a temporary move to Southampton where he spent the rest of the season at St Mary’s.

Jurgen Klopp open to Ben Woodburn loan move amid West Bromwich Albion links

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Ben Woodburn could pursue a temporary move away from the Merseyside outfit before the transfer window closes next month. The youngster was loaned out to Sheffield United during the first half of the season but the move was far from fruitful with him failing to earn regular game time.

Ultimately, Woodburn returned to the Reds after sustaining an ankle injury in training with the Blades, but he has since recovered from the setback to participate with the first-team in training. Speaking to reporters, Klopp hailed Woodburn as an ‘outstanding talent’ but suggested that the youngster was impatient with the decision-making in the summer.
